Bethany Gassan is the founder of Be A Pearl, an identity-centered coaching movement dedicated to helping women rediscover their worth, embrace their story, and live with confidence and clarity.
Originally from San Diego and now based in Juneau, Alaska, Bethany’s life has been shaped by contrast — two different homes, two different belief systems, and a childhood that taught her to be strong long before she ever felt free. Those early experiences planted the seeds of the work she does today: helping others break out of limiting narratives and step into who they were always designed to be.
Bethany’s journey has included seasons of questioning, rebuilding, and redefining what truth and identity really mean. Through that process, she discovered something profound:

Bethany lives in Juneau, Alaska, with her husband, Mack Gassan. Though they come from very different backgrounds and bring unique strengths to the table, they’ve built a marriage anchored in honor — choosing daily to champion one another through both words and action.
Together, Bethany and Mack share a passion for helping others grow. They co-founded Tree of Life Investments, a venture focused on building legacy, stewardship, and opportunities that uplift individuals and communities. Their life goals are deeply rooted in generosity — giving back as they themselves continue to grow.
They are proud parents of two grown daughters who are forging their own paths. Bethany and Mack remain committed to sowing seeds of encouragement, wisdom, and love, empowering their daughters to pursue purpose with confidence.
